Call 811, two business days before you begin digging. This will alert utilities to come out and mark THEIR buried lines from the street to your house For FREE!

Please note:

  • Many buried utility lines under your property belong to you.
  • Locating buried utility lines that you own must be performed by a private company.

To learn more about what's under you lawn click here.

*The diagram provided applies to almost all buried utilities, however; some companies do not mark all the way to the meter, but only to where they enter the property. If you are unsure, ask your local provider.
