Manchester Water District will start or stop your account per the closing escrow date. Typically final water bills are paid out of sale closing costs. Prior to the sale, the title company will request a final estimate from the District. If the final bill is significantly more than the estimate, the District will send the seller a bill for the difference, if the final bill is significantly less than the estimate, sellers should expect a refund check sent to the forwarding address on record at the District. If ownership is transferred with an unpaid account balance, the balance becomes the responsibility of the new owner.
NEW SERVICE:
Tenants and/or property owners/managers may contact Manchester Water District to begin service in the tenants name. We request that property owners/managers contact us to verify all tenant changes. Property owners will receive a copy of Late Notice bills.
END OF SERVICE:
Tenants please contact our office or fill out the form below to close your account with our District. You will be asked to provide your forwarding information so that we may mail your final bill.
